Vive La Red Rock!

In The Beginning...Or Somewhere In The Middle:

A Brief History of Red Diamond Films Inc.

Red Diamond Films Inc. began in the mind of President/ CEO, Nadia Garnier.  After a horrible experience at an acting competition she attended through a scamming acting school, Nadia felt that she had to do something to change the odds for young, aspiring actors, on the East Coast.  At the end of the disappointing competition, Nadia and all of her friends also competing found out the truth about their school, that they were all overcharged for the NY competition at which students attending from Hawaii paid less to attend including travel, and that some students from other schools were trained by the judges of the competition personally.  More than just unfair it was disgusting.  Gathered in her hotel room, being the ever rebellious ring leader, Nadia looked at her heartbroken young friends ranging in ages from 12 to 23 who were killing themselves to follow their dreams.  She made them all a promise.  "I'm going to start my own film production company.  And you can all be in my movies."  Nadia collected the headshots and resumes of all of her friends along with their contact information.  It seemed like just a sweet gesture to make everyone feel better, but nothing more, until a few months after the competition, when Nadia contacted her friends to tell them that she had started Red Diamond Films Inc.  Named so after Nadia, not even being sure that red diamonds truly existed, found out that the diamond bearing her favorite color not only existed, but was one of the most exceptional, rare, exquisite, and unique gems in existence.  Feeling that this powerful rock bore her spirit and fire, she knew it had to represent her company.
Everyone was excited as Nadia tried to garner support for the film, Unrequited, but trying to film a feature length movie while still paying off the large debt she was scammed into proved to be impossible.  While she tried to get funding, most of her friends, feeling that they had no choice, had moved on to NY or LA all at great personal costs.   Nadia became discouraged and put her hopes and dreams of a film company that would never overlook "the little guy" on hold.  Fearing that Nadia was about to let her talents go to waste, her good friend, actor Tommy Jeff, pushed her into continuing her mission.  He convinced her to try making a short film and submitting it to film festivals so that maybe she could get help for her feature length films.  Tommy's belief in her revived her zeal and desire to change the world one film at a time, so Nadia adapted a half written screenplay about crazed fans into a short and Fanatic
was Born.  Ads were placed, auditions were held, contacts were made, Fanatic was filmed and the rest is History... In continuum.
